• Utilize background scanning on iPhone XS and later models to enable quick link notifications which allow for effortless scene triggering without the need to manually access the app.

The process is user-friendly:

1. Program NFC tags using the "+" button.
2. Assign a HomeKit scene to each NFC tag.
3. Slide over to "Scan" and tap the programmed NFC tag to trigger the assigned scene effortlessly.

This app eliminates the need for verbal commands like, “Hey Siri! It’s movie time,” which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings. For those moments when silence is important or when privacy is a concern, tapping an NFC tag provides an immediate and discreet way to activate your desired scene.

HomeTags effectively utilizes the HomeKit framework, loading the scenes you have established in HomeKit and associating each NFC tag with its corresponding scene.
